AVALINE Xiamen
In 2024, Avaline is honoured to collaborate with Jimei University in Xiamen to launch a Master's Foundation Programme. Located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, Jimei University is a "Double First-Class" university in China. It is jointly established by the Ministry of Transport and Fujian Province, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Fujian Province, and Fujian Province and Xiamen City. It is a doctoral degree-granting institution, an approved institution for recommending postgraduate students, and a pilot university for building a strong transportation nation. It is also the only university on the mainland approved by the Ministry of Transport’s Maritime Safety Administration to conduct training for Taiwanese crew members.
In October 2002, Jimei University established the Overseas Education College and the Pre-university Department for students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. In 2017, the university added the Chen Aili International College. The college primarily handles international student education, overseas Chinese language training, Sino-foreign cooperative education programmes, and study abroad training. As the management unit for international students at Jimei University, the college actively explores new models for cultivating international talent under the "Belt and Road" initiative through university-business partnerships. It also takes full advantage of the Fujian Provincial Government Scholarship and the Xiamen City Chen Jiageng Scholarship. With a comprehensive system for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programmes, it attracts outstanding international students. To date, the college has educated over a thousand international students from around the world.
In addition, to meet the growing demand from students and parents, Avaline is preparing to launch A-level courses and various other educational systems, including Avaline English, in Xiamen.
