Avaline officially established the "Avaline Coffee field" in Lancang, Yunnan

Avaline participates in social welfare activities in China. Coffee is not merely a beverage; it is also a cultural phenomenon. The word "coffee" is derived from the Greek term "Kaweh," which signifies "strength and passion." This resonates perfectly with the ethos of Avaline’s campus culture. At Avaline, we encourage our students to channel their strength and passion into their studies, striving for greater achievements. As educators, our primary mission is to instil our passion for education into everything we do. Our teachers dedicate their energy and enthusiasm to their teaching, inspiring every student they encounter. This is encapsulated in our school motto: “frerebo quacumque ferar” – “Wherever I go, there will be the fragrance of flowers.”

In line with this, Avaline School has introduced Avaline Coffee and actively engages in social welfare initiatives, weaving the school’s educational philosophy into the world of coffee culture. In 2024, Avaline became deeply involved with the China Social Welfare Foundation’s “Ai Xiao Ya Foundation” charity scholarship project. From December 2024 onwards, we officially established the "Avaline Coffee field" in Lancang, Yunnan, to support children in remote mountain areas. Through Avaline Coffee, we aim to amplify the voices of these children, inspiring more kind-hearted individuals to participate in and support our charitable efforts.

The Ai Xiaoya Foundation was established on 11th November 2013, initiated by a group of volunteers, including Chen Ning and Zhang Ruwei, who visited Liangshan, Sichuan, on a public welfare mission. While there, they witnessed the severe lack of self-protection and menstrual hygiene awareness among school-aged girls in the rural mountain areas. This experience clarified the foundation's original mission: "To ensure that every girl in disadvantaged mountain regions has access to a clean set of underwear."

Over the past ten years, Ai Xiaoya has dedicated its efforts to supporting and empowering girls and young women in underdeveloped areas, addressing social issues affecting women, and exploring effective ways to improve their health, safety, education, and development through charitable initiatives. The foundation has since developed four key programme areas: Health Protection, Educational Growth, Emergency Relief, and Comprehensive Development. It now runs several established programmes, including the Girls Empowerment Programme, Girls Support Programme, Emergency Care Boxes for Girls, Xiaoya Coffee Garden, and Girls Support Stations. These programmes have collectively benefited over 260,000 individuals.
